Barbie Girl icons Aqua have announced a massive tour of arenas across the country, taking over venues in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth this March.
Of course, the Danish-Norwegian heroes are promising an epic party, and you can’t have a party without friends: special guests 2 Unlimited, East 17, Phats & Small, Big Brovaz, Booty Luv, and Urban Cookie Collective will accompany Aqua on all tour dates.
The tour begins on Thursday, 21 March, at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre (Meanjin) before heading to John Cain Arena in Melbourne (Naarm) the following night, Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney (Eora) on Sunday, 24 March, Adelaide Entertainment Centre (Kaurna) on Tuesday, 26 March, and wraps up at RAC Arena in Perth (Boorloo) on Thursday, 28 March.
Two pre-sale ticketing options are available. On Tuesday, 23 January, from 10 am local time, fans can either head to TEG Live or MyTicketek for pre-sale access until Thursday, 25 January, at 9 am local time. General public tickets will be sold via Ticketek starting at 9 am next Thursday, 25 January.
Taking to Instagram this morning, Aqua couldn’t keep their enthusiasm at bay about returning to their fans down under, writing alongside the tour poster: “AUSTRALIA!!! We’re so excited to announce that we’re coming back this March, with the hottest line-up of special guests!”
