Darwin singer-songwriter, producer and dance music aficionado VASSY is about to hit a new career milestone, joining music icons Aqua on their November/December American tour.
“Excited to announce I’ll be joining Aqua on their US TOUR,” she wrote on Facebook today. “C’mon, Barbie, Let’s Go Party”. You can find all the tour dates below.
The tour announcement arrives as this week; VASSY’s latest single, Krazy, was added to rotation on Nova. She described her latest single as “cathartic chaos; it feels liberating and is symbolic of overcoming challenges throughout my career”.
VASSY added in a press release, “Since blowing up from anthems like Bad (with David Guetta) and Secrets (with Tiësto), I faced a lot of pressure from the industry to deliver a certain sound and maximise my collaborations. However, I always stayed true to myself and did what was most authentic to who I am as an artist.”
Bad has since amassed over two billion streams, and Krazy follows her most recent #1 dance single, Pieces. You can watch the official music video for Krazy below.
In March, VASSY made history after she became the first woman to nab the prestigious Icon Award at the 2023 EDMAs in Miami.

“It’s such an honour to receive the EDMA ICON Award,” she told Purple Sneakers following the epic win.
“I thank everyone at Dance Radio across the US who has supported my music for years. I came to this country from a small town in Australia called Darwin, from a humble, hard-working Greek family with a Dream to pursue my passion.”
VASSY continued, “I worked hard with integrity; it was not easy as it is a DJ-driven boys club genre, but I stayed true to myself and the dance community at Radio really embraced me and gave me the platform to be myself and share my art with the world.
“I’m beyond grateful and proud to say that being authentically myself throughout my career paid off. Ladies, WOMAN can too be ICONS in Dance.”
