The muso was scheduled to headline Bluesfest in April
Internationally acclaimed musician Lenny Kravitz has cancelled his forthcoming Australian tour, including his headline slot at Bluesfest.
The guitar maestro was meant to perform at the massive Byron Bay festival this April, as well as headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney, but scheduling conflicts have forced the star to cancel his visit. Kravitz said he was "looking forward to rescheduling" the tour and hopeful for another opportunity to play Bluesfest sometime in the future.
The scheduling conflicts have also forced Kravitz to cancel dates in South East Asia and Japan.
Bluesfest Director Peter Noble confirmed the event was working on bringing in a replacement act.

"It is sad for all of us here at Bluesfest, when anyone cancels, as we know it must be for Lenny’s fans right now. Please be assured we are now attempting to find someone else to come and play," Noble said.
