Another mega reveal was showcased on The Masked Singer Australia last night (23 October), revealing one of the world’s most recognisable musical names: La Toya Jackson.
Jackson was unmasked as Burger Gal after performing Doja Cat’s smash hit single, Say So, and upon her unmasking, sang another Doja Cat song – Kiss Me More ft. SZA. The judges attempted to guess who Burger Gal was, with only Mel B thinking correctly as her fellow judges, Chrissie Swan, Dave Hughes and Abbie Chatfield, named Snooki, Fran Drescher and Julia Stiles.
As she took her mask off, Jackson shared her unmistakable giggle, telling the audience that The Masked Singer is her favourite series, and the Australian show is the third edition she’s ever competed in.

Last week’s reveal of the cute, colourful monster Tiny pleased viewers as it was none other than Pete Murray.
Jackson has enjoyed a decades-long career in music and entertainment, kicking off in the mid-70s with the CBS television series The Jacksons.
While she hasn’t released a studio album since 1995 (Stop In The Name Of Love), Jackson’s career re-started in the early 2000s with a string of dance hits. She then competed as a contestant on the 2011 season of The Celebrity Apprentice, released her stirring autobiography Starting Over, and, from 2013 until 2014, starred in her own reality series, Life With La Toya.
Before her appearance on The Masked Singer Australia, La Toya Jackson was Alien in the US version of the show (2019) and, in 2021, appeared as Girl on the Spanish edition of the series.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Australian icon Tina Arena made it to the semi-final of The Masked Singer France as the Carnivorous Plant.
In September, The Music began speculating about who’s under the massive masks on this year’s season of The Masked Singer Australia. Some of the speculated singers on the current series include Mel B’s peer, Emma Bunton, Conrad Sewell, Jessica Mauboy, Savage Garden vocalist Darren Hayes, and more.
