Laneway Announces Big Changes To 2019 Line-up

The 2019 Laneway line-up has today been given a shake-up following a last-minute cancellation at some of the festival stops. 

Due to her recent Grammy nomination, UK artist Jorja Smith has been forced to axe her sets in Adelaide, Melbourne and Fremantle as they clash with the ceremony. 

The 21-year-old singer, nominated in the Best New Artist category, will still perform in Brisbane and Sydney, while a newly-announced headline show in Melbourne will take place at Forum Theatre on 1 February. Tickets go on sale from 10am this Friday (18 January).

In Smith's place, Melbourne favourites The Smith Street Band will join the 2019 line-up and perform at all five stops of the tour. 

ICYMI, a string of triple j Unearthed acts have also joined the 2019 bill, including Sweater Curse (Brisbane), Tasman Keith (Sydney), Wing Defence (Adelaide), RAT!Hammock (Melbourne) and Carla Geneve (Fremantle).
