Lana Del Rey’s ninth album, Did You Know That There's A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, has debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums and Vinyl Chart, giving the singer her fifth #1 album in Australia.

She’s followed by two country music superstars on the chart - Luke Combs's new album, Gettin’ Old, which debuted at #2, and Morgan Wallen’s One Thing At A Time, steady at #3. Emo rock band Fall Out Boy’s latest record, So Much (For) Stardust, landed at #4.

After a four-year absence from new music, Matt Corby’s new album, Everything’s Fine, landed at #8 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Fall Out Boy and Matt Corby fare well on the Vinyl Chart, too, picking up #2 and #4 spots, respectively.

In the UK, Del Rey has nabbed her sixth #1, beating Depeche Mode with their new record, Memento Mori, and tying with Radiohead, Blur and Arctic Monkeys on the list of artists with the most UK #1 albums. She also topped the UK vinyl releases chart.

Lana Del Rey previously scored #1 albums in Australia with Born To Die in 2012, Ultraviolence in 2014, Honeymoon in 2015 and Lust For Life in 2017. Her best album to date, 2019’s Norman Fucking Rockwell!, hit #4 in Australia.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Del Rey has gotten engaged to musician and talent manager Evan Winiker. Winiker was a former member of the indie rock group Steel Train alongside Del Rey’s frequent collaborator, producer Jack Antonoff.

Winiker is a managing partner at Range Media, and the roster of artists he works with includes MAX, Daya, Disco Biscuits, Skyler Stonestreet, and Walk Off The Earth.

Del Rey’s relationship with Winiker has largely been kept under wraps, with the pair only spotted publicly together a few times. As the Daily Mail reported, she was wearing an engagement ring at the Billboard Women In Music Awards a few weeks ago (1 March).

Del Rey's new album is the follow-up to her 2021 records Chemtrails Over The Country Club and Blue Banisters. It's produced by Jack Antonoff, Drew Erickson and Zach Dawes, engineer Laura Sisk, and features guest vocalists Jon Batiste, Father John Misty, and Tommy Genesis.
