Australia’s Queen of Pop, Kylie Minogue, has reportedly inked a seven-figure deal with Netflix for a tell-all, fly-on-the-wall documentary.
The documentary is set to offer unprecedented access to the singer and performer, with Netflix reportedly outbidding Disney+ and Apple for an exclusive new program.
According to a new report in The Mirror, a source commented, “There was a serious bidding war over this. Kylie’s had an incredible life, from starring in Neighbours to becoming a pop icon and still dominating the charts decades later.”
The source continued, “She has a massive fanbase, so there’s no question it will attract a huge audience. That’s why the offers went so high – everyone’s very excited.”
Last year marked a new resurgence for Minogue with the release of her 16th album, Tension, and its world-dominating, heart-pumping single, Padam Padam.
Earlier this year, Minogue made the TIME 100 and was named one of the most influential people of 2024.

Kylie Minogue was one of 51 women and over a dozen entertainers on the list this year, and most notably, the only Australian. Last year, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese made the list.
Coldplay singer Chris Martin wrote a moving summary of Kylie’s achievements for TIME, stating:
“Kylie is so inspiring to me—she lives her life so gracefully and approaches every project with such passion and dedication. She always seems to be ten years ahead of everyone else, and she’s an artist who knows how to be of service, making songs that fans go on to love for years,” he wrote.
“Kylie creates a space where everyone is safe to be themselves. When I look at her, I feel hope. She’s proof there are humans who don’t judge.”
2024 has seen Minogue honoured with her own Barbie doll, receive the Global Icon Award at this year’s BRIT Awards, and win her second-ever Grammy Award (Best Pop Performance for Padam Padam). Plus, she collaborated with fellow Australian pop music icon Sia.
Last week, she dropped an unexpected collab with alt-country icon Orville Peck and EDM star Diplo.
