Kylie Minogue Celebrates The Festive Season With New Album, 'Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped)'

If you’re finding yourself hard-pressed for gifts this festive season, Australia’s own Princess Of Pop has you covered, with Kylie Minogue announcing the impending release of her new Christmas album.

Dubbed Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped), the upcoming record is a refreshed version of Minogue’s 2015 album, fittingly-titled Kylie Christmas.

Arriving shortly after the original record’s tenth anniversary, the Fully Wrapped edition features a “selection of the very best tracks” from the original version with a handful of future seasonal anthems thrown in for good measure.

Released on December 5th, the album contains tracks such as It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year, Let It Snow, Santa Baby, and the Dannii Minogue-featuring 100 Degrees, along with the newly-recorded cuts Hot In December, This Time Of Year, and Office Party.

News of the upcoming album also comes accompanied by the release of the Amazon Music Original single XMAS, which is absent from physical editions and non-Amazon digital editions of the Fully Wrapped record, but is available digitally and as a physical single alongside the new LP.

“Revisiting Kylie Christmas ten years on has been so much fun,” Minogue said of the festive experience. “Fully Wrapped has given me the chance to write and record four new songs and add a little extra sparkle - I can’t wait for everyone to turn up the volume on the new single, XMAS!”

Originally released in November 2015, Kylie Christmas was the first seasonal release for Minogue, and featured a handful of original tunes, such as White December and Christmas Isn't Christmas 'Til You Get Here, and collaborations with acts such as Iggy Pop, James Corden, and even the late Frank Sinatra via archival audio.

The album reached No. 7 on the ARIA Charts, and was also accompanied by a handful of further editions, including a Deluxe Edition which added an extra three songs, and the Snow Queen edition, which shuffled the song order and blew it out to an impressive 22 tracks.

Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped) will officially arrive on December 5th (just in time for Christmas), and is available for pre-order now on myriad physical formats, with a handful of variants, colourways, and bundles also available alongside the XMAS single.
