It's a massive week for Aus music overseas!

A pair of Australian artists are currently going absolutely wild across the top 40 charts throughout Europe - with the musicians at times separated by only one position and a handful of plays.

Thanks to his collaboration with Justin Bieber setting the music world alight this year, The Kid LAROI is popping up all over the place both for the collab track Stay and with his own solo tunes. Meanwhile, Melbourne house duo Shouse have completely defied the odds overseas, with their 2017 track Love Tonight taking the world by storm nearly four years after its initial release. Both the original and its subsequent remixes are now charting throughout the continent.

Shouse have premiered in the Hungarian charts at #15 while LAROI's solo track Without You is currently sitting at #24. In the Czech Republic, Stay is holding out its number one spot while Love Tonight is steadily climbing - up six spots from last week and currently sitting at number 21. Likewise in Sweden, Stay is sitting strong at the top, with Love Tonight's David Guetta remix jumping up to #37 from #43 the week prior.

In Austria, The Kid LAROI and Bieber are currently at #3, with Shouse at #6 after breaking the top ten last week. Over in Germany, the artists have nabbed the #4 and #5 positions respectively.

Excitingly, the musicians are both in the Top 3 together in three separate countries: Shouse is #2 and LAROI #3 in Switzerland, with the positions swapped for their Belgium spots. However, The Netherlands is loving on the Aus musicians the most this week, with Stay and Love Tonight taking out the #1 and #2 spots respectively.

This marks yet another massive success for The Kid LAROI, who just last week became the first Aussie male solo artist to hit the US Billboard #1 in 40 years.

As for Shouse, the duo have been going from strength to strength since their tune got rediscovered overseas, with it also landing in the UK Top 100 for the first time with the track coming in at #96 (as well moving up 10 places at home on the ARIA Chart to come in at #39).

Ant Celestino, head of A&R for the bands' label ONELOVE spoke to The Music earlier this year, saying, "People think Love Tonight is a ‘viral’ hit, but that's only half true. It didn’t come overnight via TikTok or influencers or music biz ‘buzz.’ It’s just a great song that made deep connections in real-time over the span of four years, pushed along by passion. Every time we found a DJ supporting or tiny engaged audience anywhere, we doubled down our efforts to grow that vibe."
