"We know we've delivered an awesome 18th birthday present."
As Deni Ute Muster prepares to down that yard glass for its 18th birthday this year, the folks behind the two-day camping/country/ute festival have announced 2016's blistering country rock line-up, led by none other than multiple Grammy-winning country rocker Keith Urban.
With his eighth full-length, RIPCORD, due out at the end of this week, Urban has always been a highly sought after act for the festival. Joining Urban this year will be rocker James Reyne, Adam Brand & The Outlaws (no stranger to the Muster having played last year too), ARIA Hall Of Fame inductee John Williamson, veteran ARIA- and Golden Guitar-winning Troy Cassar-Daley, country pop icon Shannon Noll, Queensland lads Busby Marou, The Sunny Cowgirls (also having played the festival in 2015), Catherine Britt, Christie Lamb and Deep Creek Road.
Deni Ute Muster's GM, Kate Pitt, says, "It's a thrilling line up with the "best of the best" and to have Keith Urban as our headline artist for our 18th Muster is a wish come true. We really wanted to pull out all stops and come up with a dream line up that our fans would love and we know we've delivered an awesome 18th birthday present."
With more acts to be announced, Deni Ute Muster will once again settle upon Deniliquin on this year's October long weekend — 30th September and 1st October.
