The single and music video will premiere July 12.

Marking her first release since 2020, Katy Perry has announced that she will be dropping her new single, Woman’s World, on July 12, in preparation for a new album dropping soon.
Perry posted a snippet of the song to social media, captioned, “GET READY TO POP OFF.” Woman’s World seems to speak on female empowerment, with lyrics like: “Sexy, confident / So intelligent / She is heaven-sent / So soft, so strong.”
In the video, Perry wears the same outfit she does on the single’s cover art: a white mesh bikini and metal boots. Shot by acclaimed British photographer Jack Bridgland, the bold cover art was also revealed on Perry’s Instagram.

The single, available for fans to pre-save now, will drop at 9am AEST on Friday July 12, with the music video set to premiere later that afternoon. From Perry’s socials, it seems like the video may involve a crash of some kind, perhaps with a motorbike.
Perry’s announcement was met with an onslaught of encouragement from fans, with comments like “OMG THE WORLD IS HEALING” and “SONG OF THE SUMMER”.
Last year, Perry took Australian designer Katie Perry to the Federal Court of Australia for a second time, after the pop star lost her first lawsuit against the Aussie.
