Due to extraordinary demand, Katie Noonan has already expanded her Jeff Buckley’s Grace tour, adding second dates in Adelaide and Perth.
Noonan is touring across Australia from September through November and celebrating Jeff Buckley’s beloved debut (and only) album, released during his lifetime. Set to be joined by special guests Jack Carty, Georgia Fields, and the Andromeda String Quartet, Noonan promises an extraordinary show.
The new dates will be held towards the beginning of the tour—the additional Perth show is now the first show of the tour, while the Adelaide show takes place only a few dates in. Noonan’s new shows take place at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Wednesday, 17 September, and Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Sunday, 21 September.
Pre-sale tickets are available now for Frontier Touring members ahead of the general sale opening up tomorrow (13 June) at 1 pm local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Frontier Touring website.
In addition to her stops in Adelaide and Perth, Noonan will perform in Launceston, Hobart, Geelong, Ballarat, Warragul, Wangaratta, Albury, Canberra, Brisbane, Birtinya, Noosa, Gold Coast, Bendigo, Traralgon, Melbourne, Thirroul, Sydney, and Newcastle. All dates and venues are listed below.

Noonan first introduced her extraordinary rendition of Jeff Buckley’s Grace live at her recent stint at the Sydney Festival, where she performed five sold-out nights. She said of the impact the album has had on her life:
In 1994, Jeff Buckley’s seminal debut album Grace was released into the world. I was 17 and never had I heard a sound world like this, never had I heard a band that unique and never had I heard a voice that expressive, exploratory and exciting. This album is the single biggest influence on my musical journey and was an enormous inspiration for my debut album Polyserena and my 29 subsequent studio albums.
I was lucky enough to see Jeff live in 1996 and it was honestly a transcendental experience and one of the greatest concerts I will ever see. His integrity, unique sound and achingly honest lyrics have inspired me so deeply, and in the 30th anniversary of the Grace album, I am honoured to present this body of work with some of my favourite musicians and pay homage to a life changing album and a truly once in a lifetime artist.
