When it comes to country music in Australia, there are few awards that can match the prestige of a Golden Guitar, and the 2019 nominees have today been revealed.

Kasey Chambers has scored seven nominations, including four for her single The Campfire Song, while John Williamson, Travis Collins, The Wolfe Brothers, Adam Eckersley & Brooke McClymont, Adam Harvey and Andrew Swift are all nominated for four awards each.

“One of the most exciting aspects of the country music industry right now is that we have an incredibly strong field of both emerging and established artists who are making their mark on the world,” CMAA Chairman Dan Biddle said.

“Whether you’re a fan of alt country, contemporary country or traditional country styles there is something for everyone and the music coming out of Australia is world-class.”

The winners will be announced during Tamworth’s annual Country Music Festival, Tamworth on January 26.
