The cancellation comes just days out from the festival.
Kanye West has reportedly withdrawn from Coachella 2022.
Although no official announcement has been made by organisers, Variety has said that a source confirmed the cancellation and that apparently West had not even rehearsed or prepared for his headline slot, despite the two-weekend festival kicking off next week.
It’s suspected that West’s “concerning online behaviour” as of late contributed to him pulling out of the festival.
Last month, it was revealed that West would not be performing at the 2022 Grammy Awards, which took place yesterday, due to said behaviour.
West has faced intense criticism following cyberbullying and harassing Pete Davidson and his estranged ex-wife Kim Kardashian and also using a racial slur while addressing The Daily Show and Grammy's host, Trevor Noah.
Back in February, he lashed out at fellow Coachella headliner Billie Eilish, demanding she apologise for comments made at a concert that many perceived to be directed towards Travis Scott or he wouldn't perform at the festival.

Eilish was quick to respond and stated: “literally never said a thing about travis. was just helping a fan.”
