The US country icon immortalises the legend of Saul Goodman in song
Country-music legend Junior Brown has lent his distinct talents to the Better Call Saul promotional machine, starring in a narrative music video about the Breaking Bad spin-off prequel and its central shady lawyer, Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk).
The clip is a throwback of sorts to season two of Breaking Bad - specifically seventh episode Negro y Azul, which opens with a Spanish-sung tale about Bryan Cranston's iconic anti-hero Heisenberg, only this time we get a down-home, countrified yarn of petty criminals and the one man who has nous enough to keep them out of prison.
Everybody, now: Saul, Saul, you better call Saul, he'll fight for your rights when your back's to the wall, stick it to the man, justice for all... yeah, that'll be in our heads for hours.

Better Call Saul airs in the US from February next year. It will follow ethically questionable legal eagle Jimmy McGill, aka Saul Goodman, on his journey into the criminal abyss in which we found him at his introduction in Breaking Bad. Original series creator Vince Gilligan is involved once again, as are cast members Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks, alongside fresh faces Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian and Michael Mando.
