Fan First show pushed back a month
Sydney based singer/songwriter Josh Pyke has been forced to postpone his upcoming Brisbane show at Southside Tea Room as he wants to remain in Sydney to be with his expecting wife.
Pyke, who is recording a new album, was set to play a series of extremely intimate fans shows. In a statement he said, “I have some really joyful news, which unfortunately also leads to postponing the Brisvegas Fans First show.”
He added, “Whilst all this album making business has been going on, what I hadn't mentioned, was that my amazing wife has also been creating a beautiful baby behind the scenes! Long story short, as always, I tried to cram too many things in, and thought it'd be fine to make it to all these shows before the baby arrived.”
Originally slated for this Friday 10 May, the sold-out show will now take place Friday 7 June at Southside Tea Room, with all tickets still valid for the new show. If you can't make the new date, refunds can be sought from comps@jbhifi.com.au. Under 18 ticket holders still need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
