Joey Bada$$ Adds Headline Tour Dates To Upcoming Australian Visit

US hip hop prodigy Joey Bada$$ has beefed up his impending trip to Australian shores for January's Sugar Mountain Festival with a trio of headline shows.

The Temptation and Devastated hitmaker will play two all-ages outings — in Brisbane and Sydney — as well as an over-18s show in Perth, in the lead-up to the event.

The rapper hits local stages in the wake of his acclaimed second album, ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$, which landed in April this year and has, including the aforementioned tunes, yielded four singles to date. Devastated has gone Gold at home in the US, while Rockabye Baby (featuring ScHoolboy Q) earned him his first chart results Down Under, hitting #97 on the ARIA albums chart.

He also contributed a standalone track, Victory, to the NBA2K18 soundtrack, and kept busy away from the studio by appearing in the role of Leon in season two of Mr Robot (2016).

A Frontier Members pre-sale will be held from 11am AEDT this coming Tuesday, 24 October, running until the same time the next day, or until the allocation is exhausted. General public tickets go on sale from 10am local time Thursday 26 October.
