Jessica Mauboy Advances To Eurovision Grand Final

Jessica Mauboy has booked her ticket to the Eurovision grand final following two standout performances in Lisbon. 

As Fairfax reports, the Darwin-born singer's performance of We Got Love won over the judges and television audiences, which now sees Australia crack the top 20 finalist list alongside a number of countries heavily tipped to win including France, Sweden, Germany and Italy.

Mauboy will perform the track four more times —  a grand final dress rehearsal, a professional jury show, a TV-ready afternoon show and the live grand final event.

While Mauboy will no doubt have the entire country rooting for her, keep an eye out for UK entrant SuRie's performance, as her song, Storm, was co-written by Queensland songwriter Nicole Blair​.

The grand final will be available to watch on SBS from 5am this Sunday (13 May).
