Following the appointment of Beth Appleton to the role of Chief Marketing Officer last month, music credit database Jaxsta has announced a massive update to its platform - with the addition of a new paid membership option to enhance the overall user experience.

Jaxsta Plus will allow users to access a number of new features throughout the site, including an events and marketing directory, alert function for new crediting and chart updates, personalised prioritising of credits as they appear on the website, and full access to the profiles and artist pages for those the users are representing.

The company also announced that all current users will be automatically transferred to their new 'freemium' service Jaxsta Core, which will continue to act as the unpaid version of the website.

“We are thrilled to have the new structure of Jaxsta Pro ready and to move back to a paid model," Jaxsta CEO and co-founder Jacqui Louez Schoorl explained of the updates. 

"Many users and advocates of Jaxsta have provided feedback on the use and value they receive from the platform, and this initial rollout will address a number of their requests. But it will not stop there! The team has been working on a new range of incredible features which will be coming to our Jaxsta Plus service in the months to come – we have an exciting roadmap for Jaxsta Plus and business users which will keep our community growing.”
