The forthcoming tour from London electro pop hotshots The xx looks like it will be one of the bigger tours of the year with massive shows all around the country selling out like you wouldn't even believe.

Not content with his regular outfit totally dominating the country whole he's out here, the band's Jamie xx has decided to treat the fans of his solo material to some very special shows while he is in the country, with dates at venues in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney all locked in.

Jamie has become one of the hottest producers in the world in recent years; his reimagining of Gil Scott Heron's 2010 record I'm New Here – released under the name We're New Here – saw him brought to the attention of many around the world. Two such people were Drake and Rihanna, they used his rendition of I'll Take Care Of U as the basis for their Take Care.
