James Marriott Plots 2024 Return To Australia

The British singer returns to Australia a little over a year after making his debut down under.

British indie rocker and YouTube sensation James Marriott has announced his return to Australia a little over a year after his first-ever shows down under.

Last October, the Going Postal At The Party singer was part of a stacked Yours & Owls line-up and played two sold-out shows at Sydney’s Factory Theatre and Melbourne’s Prince Bandroom. This time around, Marriott is already playing at bigger venues and even making his New Zealand debut.

Starting the tour at Auckland’s Powerstation on Monday, 2 December, Marriott then heads to Brisbane’s The Tivoli (Wednesday, 4 December), Sydney’s Enmore Theatre (Friday, 6 December), Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre (Sunday, 8 December), and wraps up the tour at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Wednesday, 11 December.

After some time as a YouTuber and hosting Twitch live streams, Marriott dropped his debut single, Slow Down, in May 2020. He then released two EPs: No Left Brain (2021) and Bitter Tongues (2022). Last November, Marriott unveiled his debut album, Are We There Yet?, which reached #2 on the UK Indie Albums Chart.
