Folk, country, and rock music icon Jackson Browne is already returning to Australia in November and December for a run of postponed shows after he regrettably had to cancel shows in Sydney and Melbourne due to illness earlier this year, and he’s just added another show: a sole date in Queensland.
Browne is heading to Australia's premier outdoor winery music event, A Day On The Green, in the Sirromet Wines region of Mount Cotton on Saturday, 2 December.
Presented in conjunction with A Day On The Green and Frontier Touring, Browne will be joined by The Waifs, Vika & Linda and Liz Stringer for this exclusive show. Stringer will also accompany the Doctor My Eyes singer at his upcoming rescheduled shows.
Sporting timeless classics like Running On Empty, These Days, Somebody’s Baby, The Pretender, and The Load Out, and being a co-writer of Eagles’ classic Take It Easy and many more – Jackson Browne’s remarkable, eloquent songwriting is matched by his social justice work.
The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and Songwriters Hall Of Fame inductee has been hailed by Rolling Stone as one of the “greatest songwriters of all time”.
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, 31 May via Ticketmaster. You can find more information about the one-off show on the A Day On The Green website, with A Day On The Green and AAMI member pre-sales starting this Friday, 26 May.

Over the Easter long weekend, Browne wowed fans at Bluesfest Byron Bay with a superb set. Our reviewer said about his performance, “Carrying off the same cowboy hat aesthetic with the energy of a truly seasoned performer, Jackson Browne found himself at the centre of a stage filled with talent.
"Between his clearly seasoned band and his backing singers’ powerful pipes, Browne had the crowd in the palm of his hand - which, incidentally, proved just as proficient on both the guitar and the piano. Long Way Down was a set highlight thanks to Browne’s effortless solos and the vocal prowess of Siobhan Stewart, as was I’m Alive, showcasing his chemistry with the band early on.”
