More Jack River More Jack River

Up-and-coming NSW singer-songwriter Jack River is all set to have herself a merry little Christmas with a brief run of east-coast shows this December in support of newly released debut EP Highway Songs No.2.

The impending tour is set to be River's first-ever headline sojourn, and includes appearances in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, culminating just before Santa's big day with an appearance at Forster's Grow Your Own summer festival.

The run also includes a slot at Lorne's iteration of The Falls Music & Art Festival (28-31 December), and follows her stint this and next month as support for Dope Lemon's first-ever tour. In fact, it's all happening in a bit of a whirlwind for the acclaimed upstart, having only made her live debut last month at I OH YOU's BIGSOUND after-party.

That performance, which earned River broad accolades across the industry, came in-between her recorded efforts at turning heads, the most recent of which is Palo Alto, the follow-up to earlier single — and fellow EP inclusion — Talk Like That. Give her new track a spin below.
