US singer-songwriter to tour new album here
American folk-rocker Jack Johnson has announced that his world tour will bring him to Australia in December – the tour takes in the UK, Europe and the US before heading here.
The tour, his first here since 2010, is in support of Johnson's sixth studio album From Here To Now To You – released on Friday.
Joining Johnson on the tour will be musical pals Paula Fuga and John Cruz – both considered at the forefront of contemporary Hawaiian music.
Johnson will also continue the touring tradition he began in 2008, and donate 100% of his tour profits to charity. The tour will also implement green initiatives, both at venues and on the road - initiatives that he promises will include composting, recycling and food donation.
