For weeks, rumours have swirled around a secret act that would perform at Glastonbury this year.

Last year, a band called The Churnups was listed on the festival schedule, and on the day, punters arrived to a secret set from Foo Fighters.

In 2025, a secret act called Patchwork has been teased for a few weeks. While it’s speculated that Chappell Roan could make a surprise appearance on the Pyramid Stage, pop hitmaker Lorde has essentially confirmed her appearance at the legendary British festival, albeit on a different stage.

Overnight, the Royals singer shared a photo of a large pink tent on her Instagram Stories. She followed it up with another hint, writing “11:30 AM BST” on a black background.

According to the Lorde fix fan account on X (formerly known as Twitter), posters advertising Lorde’s new album, Virgin, released today, were going up on site at Glastonbury just seven hours ago. An hour before that, the same account revealed that the tent Lorde posted to her Instagram Stories was the Woodsies tent—one of the more intimate spots at Glastonbury—which has a “TBA” listed for the 11:30 AM slot today (27 June).

If you’re heading to Glastonbury, we’d say it’s all but confirmed that you’ll see Lorde on the Woodsies stage today.

Lorde performed at Glastonbury for the first time in 2017 and returned in 2022. This year’s Glastonbury is headlined by The 1975, Neil Young (performing with his band The Chrome Hearts), and Olivia Rodrigo.

Other artists set to take the stages scattered throughout Worthy Farm this weekend include Charli XCX, Doechii, RAYE, Alanis Morissette, Amyl And The Sniffers, Loyle Carner, Royel Otis, Denzel Curry, Biffy Clyro, Busta Rhymes, Parcels, Deftones, Fatboy Slim, Lola Young, John Fogerty, Rod Stewart, The Prodigy, Noah Kahan, Jorja Smith, Wolf Alice, Glass Beams, The Libertines, Girl In Red, Four Tet, Gracie Abrams, Wet Leg, Snow Patrol, Turnstile, and many more.

Lorde’s upcoming Ultrasound World Tour begins in September. In a recent interview with The Music, Lorde responded to the question of whether there would be good tour news for her Australian and New Zealand fans. “No news coming soon,” she said.

However, she followed up her answer with: “I have never not toured Australia and New Zealand, so hopefully, people can click that all together.”

While Australian and New Zealand tour dates may not be arriving just yet, fans can rest assured that they won’t be left out of the mix and can anticipate Lorde making her return likely in 2026.

Lorde last toured Australia in March 2023, in support of her 2021 album Solar Power. That tour marked her first shows Down Under in six years.
