London-established direct-to-fan platform Music Glue has announced the appointment of industry veteran Neil Robertson to the position of Head of A&R in Australia.
Robertson will take on the role having served as International Label Manager at V2 Recordings/Cooperative Music Australia for a decade, where he worked with big-name acts such as Faith No More, Bloc Party and CHVRCHES.
He also previously managed acclaimed Scottish band Belle & Sebastian for ten years.
Founded in 2007, Music Glue is used by musicians, labels, merchandisers and venders and allows artists to take control of their online presence and ecommerce.

"I’ve always been impressed with Music Glue’s ability to empower artists and to give them and their managers the chance to have really meaningful creative and commercial conversations with their fans," Robertson said.

Meanwhile, founder and CEO of Music Glue, Mark Meharry, said he knew Robertson would fit perfectly into the company immediately.
