The stalwart Byron Bay outfit have nine dates lined up in just a couple of months' time
A week to the day since they announced the May release of their unexpected third studio full-length, Skydancer, Byron Bay metal/hardcore mainstays In Hearts Wake have unveiled a string of national tour dates to launch the album proper and give their faithful fans plentiful opportunities to enjoy their newest work in the flesh.
Joined by special guests and international luminaries We Came As Romans and Beartooth, as well as Melburnian six-piece Storm The Sky, In Hearts Wake's Skydancer tour will kick off with a double showing at The Triffid, in Brisbane, where they'll commence proceedings with an under-18s affair on Thursday, 28 May, and back up the following night for the 18+ counterpart.
From there, the bands will perform licensed all-ages gigs in Sydney (Roundhouse, 30 May) and Canberra (Magpies, 31 May), an all-ages show in Perth (YMCA HQ, 2 June), an over-18s affair in Fremantle (Metropolis, 3 June), another licensed all-ages showing in Adelaide (HQ, 4 June), 18+ action in Melbourne (170 Russell, 5 June), and wrap it all up with a final all-ages outing at Melbourne's Arrows on Saturday, 6 June.
We know that's a little while off, so you can tide yourself over just a little bit with the band's recently released clip for the excellent inaugural Skydancer release, Breakaway, below.
