In Hearts Wake Release Video Game In Support Of New Album

Metalcore band promote new record with video game

More In Hearts Wake In Hearts Wake Profile

It is very exciting times for metalcore band In Hearts Wake.

Not only is their upcoming album, Skydancer, due out next month, which will also feature on triple j as the stations Feature Album next week, but the boys have now released a video game in support of the new record.

Last year, the lads showed off their inner nerd as they released their own version of popular game 'Earth Invaders' in anticipation of their last album, Earthwalker and the latest effort follows the same theme with a new game called 'Skyhoppers'.

Players can choose any member from the Byron Bay quartet and see the band member's face on an eagle as they fly through cloud barriers. The lead single, Breakaway, can be listened to during game play and once the player breaks 30 barriers, the unreleased track, Insomnia can be given a listen.

And to sweeten the deal for gaming enthusiasts, the person to have the highest score by May 1 will win a rare vinyl test pressing of Skydancer.

Give the new game a go and soar (no pun intended) by clicking here.

Meanwhile, the boys have announced a national tour in support of the album, which kicks off at the end of next month.
