The rest of her set was a struggle, but she powered on
It seems Lorde may still be recovering from the illness that saw her April tour postponed, with the New Zealand star stopping halfway through a song in Perth last night, leaving the stage for ten minutes.
“I'm sorry, I'm not feeling very well,” Ella Yelich-O'Connor told a Challenge Stadium audience before walking off.
After a few minutes a crew member told the crowd they were having some technical difficulties but the show would continue shortly.
Yelich-O'Connor returned to the stage and apologised, before saying - while holding her stomach - she had almost passed out.

The rest of her set seemed a little less energetic than usual, and at one point she requested a chair so she could sit and chat with the audience for a while. A wet towel was also wrapped around her neck near the end of the set.
Lorde's next show is at Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Tuesday.
