As the heat kicks up, rugby is kicking off in full force with the annual HSBC SVNS set to return to Perth shores in January 2025, this time joined by a new array of Aussie music talent to complement the action.

While the international series started in late November, the game will return to Perth via Cape Town from January 24th to 26th for a second consecutive year.

Alongside the rugby sevens matches, fans can expect performances from headliners such as Perth metal band Voyager and the Perth Symphony Orchestra alongside classical virtuosos INNEKA.

Also present will be high-energy Aussie rockers The Southern River Band and rising Afrobeats star Adrian Dzvuke. Complementing the headliners are over 130 local artists and DJ acts, such as Aslan and BEXX, performing across stages such as The Party Stand and The Beach Club.

Earlier this year, the Perth SVNS series was treated to performances from Australian legends Peking DukHot Dub Time Machine, and Coterie, along with over 20 other artists, to highlight the three-day event.

Argentina would go on to win their first men’s title in Australia, defeating Australia. Meanwhile, the Irish women’s team defeated Australia to win their first rugby sevens title in history.

While currently, the HSBC SVNS is now playing in Cape Town after starting in Dubai; we can expect to see more from the Australian teams playing in action on home turf soon.
