Irish singer-songwriter Hozier has announced two headline shows to go with his upcoming appearance at Bluesfest.

The soulful singer, who's experienced huge success off the back of his breakout single Take Me To Church, will perform at the Corner Hotel, Melbourne on Saturday, 28 Mar and then in Sydney at the Metro Theatre on Monday, 30 Mar. Tickets for the dates go on sale this Friday, 6 Feb at 9am.

Hozier was among the latest round of Bluesfest additions named last month, alongside the likes of The Waterboys, Switchfoot, Fly My Pretties, Jeff Lang and more.

The musician and his hit single Take Me To Church will battle it out with Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor and our very own Sia in the category of Song Of The Year at this weekend's Grammys.
