Ed Sheeran proved just how much he loves his fans in Australia and New Zealand when he announced the Loop Tour yesterday (22 July).

Heading to Australia and New Zealand across January to March 2026, the Lego House singer will perform in stadiums across both countries, even visiting Christchurch for the first time in eleven years.

The tour is in support of his forthcoming album, Play, which is scheduled for release this September. Sheeran last toured Australia in 2023, bringing his Mathematics Tour to stadiums across the country – including performing to a record-breaking 109,500 punters at the MCG.

Sheeran’s upcoming tour, which includes two-night stints in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, and one show in Adelaide, Perth, Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, may be set to break more records. There’s plenty of space between more dates for more shows, and with demand for live music and Sheeran’s previous tours, we’re expecting sold-out dates in no time.

DATES & VENUES

Ed Sheeran’s 2026 tour begins with a run in New Zealand - Auckland’s ​GO Media Stadium on Friday, 16 January, Wellington’s Sky Stadium on Wednesday, 21 January, and Apollo Projects Stadium in Christchurch on Saturday, 24 January.

He then heads to Australia, playing at Perth’s Optus Stadium on Saturday, 31 January, followed by two nights at Sydney’s Accor Stadium (Friday, 13 and Saturday, 14 February), Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium (Friday, 20 and Saturday, 21 February), Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium (Thursday, 26 and Friday, 27 February), and ends the tour at Adelaide Oval on Thursday, 5 March.

PRE-SALES

Telstra Plus members can access pre-sale tickets during a 48-hour sale (or until the pre-sale allocation is exhausted), which begins on Friday, 25 July. To meet demand (and ensure ticketing sites don’t crash instantly), timings to access tickets will be staggered per show. Head to the Telstra website to find more details.

Ticket prices in Australia for Ed Sheeran’s upcoming tour range from $109.90 to $249.90, and from $109.90 to $229.90 in New Zealand. For the pre-sale and general sale, tickets are limited to six per purchaser, per show.
