The Hottest 100 Results Are In!

The Wiggles have topped the 2021 triple j Hottest 100!

Following weeks of speculation, the beloved Aussie act have soared to #1 with their cover of Tame Impala’s Elephant, marking the first time that a Like A Version has topped the annual countdown.

Triple J has previously noted that it was the top Like A Version last year and racked up more views than the rest of the top 10 from 2021 combined.

Kevin Parker’s original version hit #7 in the 2012 countdown. It was a big year for The Wiggles with Emma Watkins hanging up her yellow skivvy and new member Tsehay Hawkins stepping up to the stage. A tour with DZ Deathrays and Polish Club for the original Wiggles lineup was also announced.

Meanwhile, back on the countdown The Kid LAROI’s global smash hit with Justin Bieber, Stay, lands at #2. The Sydney artist is now the highest-ranking Indigenous artist ever in triple j’s Hottest 100.
