After a devastatingly long period away, Hothouse Flowers are finally going to be gracing our shores again.

First formed in Dublin in 1985, the Irish rockers have been renowned for decades for their innovative blend of rock ‘n’ roll, Celtic Folk, and American gospel.

After winning the Street Entertainers of the Year award in 1985, the band caught the eye of U2’s Bono, leading to a record deal with major label PolyGram.

Their first album, People, was released in May 1988 and became the most successful debut album in Irish history, reaching number one in Ireland within a week and eventually peaking at number 2 in the UK Albums Chart. Suffice it to say, this four-piece has been iconic for a long time. Their most recent album, Let’s Do This Thing, was independently released in 2016.

They have played at Glastonbury Festival; they have played at Reading Festival, and now they will be playing all across Australia and New Zealand in February 2026, for the first time in over twenty years.

The band enjoy a loyal worldwide fan base, who celebrate their unique shows that boast unpredictable energy, impromptu improvisation, and the emotional weight of Irish storytelling.

Friday, February 13: Factory Theatre, Sydney
Saturday, February 14: Corner Hotel, Melbourne
