Hot Chip Lock In 2026 Australian Tour Dates

Iconic English electronic veterans Hot Chip will be making their return to Australian shores next year, confirming a small run of Australian tour dates this morning.

Taking place across January of 2026, the legendary group will be launching their run of headline dates at Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall on January 10th, before heading to Melbourne on January 13th for a gig at an as yet uncomfirmed venue.

The group will then wrap up their Aussie trek with two dates at the Sydney Opera House on January 14th and 15th as part of the Sydney Festival.

The upcoming shows are in support of the group’s latest compilation, Joy In Repetition, which arrived in September and maps out an artistic evolution from DIY beginnings, to eight studio albums, and into their certification as one of England’s most revered electronic outfits.

As such, the upcoming tour will see Hot Chip appearing in a retrospective mindset, performing all the best cuts from their storied discography across the course of the night.

The newly-announced tour will be Hot Chip’s first full appearance in Australia since 2022, when they visited in support of their latest album, Freakout/Release. Fans did receive another visit from Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard across the late 2024 and early 2025 period, with the pair touching down for a series of DJ sets.

Tickets to Hot Chip’s upcoming Australian tour go on sale from 12pm on Tuesday, November 11th, with an artist and Mastercard pre-sale running from 11am on Friday, November 7th until 11am on Monday, November 10th, and a Secret Sounds pre-sale running from 12pm on Monday, November 10th until 11am on Tuesday, November 11th.
