History of House is returning for 2023, but now they are taking their electrifying show to North Head, Manly, for Night At The Barracks.

Led by ARIA-nominated DJ Groove Terminator, History of House will take you on a musical tour through the history of dance music. Paired with the three-time Grammy award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir, you'll experience everything from funky 70s disco to sparkly 80s pop and then through the waves of house music, going all the way back to the 80s.

Kicking off on October 6th, this gig is not to be missed by any dance music fanatic, whether you want to relive your glory days or be transported to a time you've never experienced.

There is no one else we'd rather see behind the decks than DJ Groove Terminator - also known as GT - for this unique gig. With a career that expands over 30 years, GT has become a mainstay in both the domestic and international scene. He has produced, recorded & remixed many of Australia’s major recording artists, with his credits including Multi-Platinum releases for Savage Garden, Gold certified releases for Grinspoon and Dead Or Alive, as well as productions for platinum artists Groove Armada and Gorillaz.

Alongside Groove Terminator, one of the world's greatest gospel choirs will bring this history lesson to life. Formed in Soweto, South Africa, The Soweto Gospel Choir has toured their 30-member ensemble around the world since 2005, with crowds flocking to hear their powerful sound. They've performed live with stars including Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Bono, Queen and Celine Dion. Their albums Blessed, African Spirit and Freedom won the Grammy Awards for Best Traditional World Music Album in 2006, 2007 and 2018, respectively. Now, they travel to Sydney to deliver a cracking show for Night At The Barracks and guide you through the hits.
