Wavves, Urthboy, The Drones and more
Canadian indie rockers Half Moon Run will have the spotlight shone on them next week on triple j, with their newest release, Sun Leads Me On, chosen as the station's Feature Album, along with Sydney's Boy & Bear who have scored the Album Packet with Limit Of Love.
It's an Aussie-heavy list of additions this week (11 of the 15 additions are our very own) with Canberra post-hardcore boys Hands Like Houses, I OH YOU favourites Violent Soho, Sydney MC Urthboy and L D R U all picking up additions — Violent Soho's Like Soda in particular is so well-loved at the moment that a cheeky punter even created a petition to make the song our new national anthem.
Indies like Brissy's Cub Sport with Only Friend, HAMJAM with Cooked and Roland Tings with Hedonist also nabbed their tracks as spot additions.
You'll also hear internationals like Lion Babe with Impossible, Wavves with My Head Hurts and Run The Jewels with Rubble Kings Theme (Dynamite).
