Hear The Title Track From Kram's First Cinematic Soundtrack

'Love Is Now', the LP, is available now

Spiderbait drummer Kram is broadening his horizons, becoming the proud progenitor of a full original motion picture soundtrack with new release Love Is Now, created for the Eponine Films/Universal Pictures Australia flick of the same name.

The full soundtrack is available for purchase now, but you can give yourself a quick taster in the form of the film/album's title track below.

The full Love Is Now soundtrack comprises 37 songs, and came about following Kram's collaboration with Love Is Now's director, Jim Lounsbury, and producer, Behren Shultz, during the making of a documentary about Spiderbait's last album.

"They asked if I would be interested in doing the soundtrack," Kram explained in a statement. "Jim was a big fan of my album Mix Tape and I'd always wanted to compose music/songs for film, so I was up for it."

The soundtrack for Love Is Now was recorded in Melbourne, Sydney and Byron Bay during downtime around one of Spiderbait's national tours, though Kram has been keeping plenty busy elsewhere, too, handling production duties on the eagerly awaited sophomore full-length from sibling rock outfit Stonefield.
