Secret Sounds has today unveiled the official Harvest Rock 2023 sideshows featuring the cream of the crop from the festival’s lineup.

From genre-defying visionaries and masters of funk to power pop prodigies, here are the artists from the Adelaide festival who will be hitting the east coast this October.

Santigold

Leading the charge is the genre-defying musician Santigold. Known for her fearless ability to blend unexpected elements into groundbreaking work, Santigold has secured her position as a major muse in the music world.

With collaborations that include Jay Z, Karen O and Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beastie Boys, and more, her influence is undeniable. Her live performances are a testament to her creativity, where every aspect, from visuals to choreography, is a co-creation.

Catch it live when Santigold takes to stages in Sydney and Melbourne in October.

Chromeo

Montreal's own Chromeo, composed of Dave 1 and P-Thugg, bring their signature analog synth sonics and catchy hooks to the lineup.

Their electrofunk sounds have left an indelible mark on the music landscape, and after nearly two decades of success, they continue to amaze audiences worldwide.

With appearances at major festivals and a knack for captivating live shows, Chromeo is bound to ignite the dance floors in Sydney and Melbourne this October.

The Lemon Twigs

New York locals The Lemon Twigs bounded onto the scene with their precocious 2016 debut Do Hollywood at the tail end of their teenage years, the Long Island brothers each playing multiple instruments including guitar, keyboards, drums, horns and strings.

Their follow-up Go to School threw caution to the wind, while their third record Songs for the General Public (2020) saw them pull influence from a range of multigenerational inspirations, darting from twee chamber pop to full-on glam punk.

The Lemon Twigs released their fourth album Everything Harmony in May 2023, showcasing an emotional depth and musical sophistication far beyond their years as a band.

Don’t miss the opportunity to experience the album live when The Lemon Twigs bring their healthy love of musical theatre and over-the-top performance to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in October.

Sparks

Legendary pop pioneers, Sparks, are making their way to Australia for the first time since 2001. Ron and Russell Mael, with their impressive 26-album catalogue, have influenced generations of artists across various genres.

Their recent albums have earned them a spot in the UK charts, and their live show promises to be a spectacle that spans their iconic history. Fans old and new can relish this opportunity to witness Sparks' magic live as they embark on their world tour.
