"We're super excited to be doing this tour."
Grinspoon have today announced a huge national tour in celebration of their forthcoming Chemical Hearts vinyl release.
The vinyl is made up classic Grinspoon tracks and is also a taste of the tour's setlist, which includes songs like Just Ace, Hard Act To Follow, More Than You Are, Ready 1 and more.
“It is with great delight that we announce a cute little sojourn around the country with Grinspoon visiting (hopefully) all of you!" shares frontman Phil Jamieson.
"We are going to be doing a little thing called Chemical Hearts. The tour comes with the crazy new vinyl record which features (arguably) some of our favourites on wax."
"Joining us are absolute legends of the game, The Hard Aches, [The] Gooch Palms and Bugs. These concerts will have a very exciting atmos due to the individual scintillating performances by these amazing acts.

"We’re super excited to be doing this tour. We don’t get out much anymore and our last one focused primarily on our first record and this one will take a more broad approach to the little nuggets of songs that came between 1995 and 2013."
The tour comes two years after Grinspoon's huge run for the 20th anniversary of their 1997 debut album, Guide To Better Living, and will kick off at Metropolis in Fremantle in early-October before heading to Perth, Melbourne, Canberra, Hobart, Adelaide, Wollongong, Newcastle, Sydney and the Gold Coast, then finally wrapping up in Brisbane in early-November.
Tickets for the shows are on sale from 10am on Friday 7 June, head to theGuide for all the info.
