Skating and punk rock go hand in hand, so it's fitting the debut of new WA indie/punk rock festival Hot Freaks finds a home at Perth’s Soggybones with a line-up of stellar talent from all around the country.

The 10-hour event will go down on Aug 27 with a headline set from SA force Grenadiers, WA debuts from Hannahband, Oslow and The Sinking Teeth, sets from Perth favourites Pat Chow, Gunns and more at the skate shop’s revamped 400-capacity warehouse on Old Aberdeen Street in West Perth from 2pm.
