Green Day To Play 'Dookie' & 'American Idiot' On March 2025 Australian Tour

Green Day fans have been waiting a long time for this: the US rockers will return to Australia in March 2025.

Touring down under for the first time since May 2017, the band will be hitting stadiums across the East Coast in support of their new album, Saviors, released earlier this year.

However, the Saviors tour isn’t really all about new music. For this tour, Green Day will be performing their classic albums Dookie (released in February 1994) and American Idiot (September 2004) in their entirety in a dual anniversary celebration tour. Plus, they’ll play a bunch of Saviors songs in between the sets and a couple of classics from other albums.

Green Day ‘Saviors’ Tour Setlist Revealed

The massive stadium run will find Green Day perform at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Saturday, 1 March, Sydney’s Engie Stadium on Monday, 3 March, and the Gold Coast’s CBUS Super Stadium on Wednesday, 5 March. The trio will be joined by special guests, AFI, on all dates.

“We’ve never been more excited to unleash new music than with Saviors, a record that’s meant to be rocked live, together,” the band commented in a statement. “And we cannot wait to return to Australia; it’s been way too long. So, let’s thrash.”

Where To Find Tickets For Green Day’s 2025 Australian Tour

Multiple pre-sales are going ahead before the general sale opens next Friday (20 September). To keep up with demand, tickets to all shows will be available at staggered times.

Artist Pre-Sale

Fans on Green Day’s mailing list can purchase pre-sale tickets from Monday, 16 September, to Thursday, 19 September. Tickets will be available at the following times:

Gold Coast: 1 pm

Melbourne: 2 pm

Sydney: 3 pm

Vodafone Pre-Sale

Vodafone rewards members can purchase tickets at the following times from Tuesday, 17 September, to Thursday, 19 September.

Gold Coast: 10 am

Melbourne: 11 am

Sydney: 12 pm

Mastercard/CommBank Yello Pre-Sale

Mastercard and eligible CommBank Yello customers can access pre-sale tickets from Tuesday, 17 September, at 10 am local time until Thursday, 19 September. You can visit the CommBank/Mastercard website to find out more.

Live Nation Pre-Sale

The promoter (Live Nation) pre-sale begins on Thursday, 19 September, and runs for 24 hours. The pre-sale opens at the following times:
