Aussie talent was among those celebrated at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

The event, which took place in Las Vegas following a COVID postponement and location change earlier this year, saw local favourites RÜFÜS DU SOL claim the Grammy for Best Electronic/Dance Recording with Alive.

Aussie legends AC/DC were beaten by Foo Fighters across both their nominated categories (Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Album), with the US outfit also winning Best Rock Song for Waiting On A War, claiming wins across all three of their nominated categories just over a week after drummer Taylor Hawkins passed away.

Hiatus Kaiyote were nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album with Mood Valiant, which was taken out by Lucky Daye for Table For Two, while Best New Artist – which The Kid LAROI was in the running for – was given to Olivia Rodrigo.

This year’s coveted Album Of The Year gong was bestowed to Jon Batiste for We Are, while Song Of The Year was claimed by Silk Sonic (aka Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak)’s Leave The Door Open.
