Good Things Festival Launches Competition Ahead Of Line-up Drop

It’s Good Things Festival month, with the highly anticipated line-up for this year’s events set to drop sometime in the next few weeks.

To keep the hype high and get punters involved, festival organisers have launched a competition ahead of the forthcoming line-up drop. Good Things Festival promoters Destroy All Lines are offering potential festivalgoers the chance to attend this year’s event on them. All you have to do is guess the correct date the line-up will drop for a chance to win.

“Good Things HQ is finalizing the details to bring you our highly anticipated 2024 lineup! While we put the finishing touches on it, we want to have some fun with you while offering the chance to come to the festival on us,” organisers wrote on Facebook yesterday (5 August).

Revealing that three of the five dates are “significant” in the festival’s announcement history, they’ve offered up the following dates:

-            Friday, 16 August

-            Monday, 19 August

-            Wednesday, 21 August

-            Friday, 23 August

-            Tuesday, 27 August

Punters can go here and put in their guesses for the announcement date before entries close on Sunday, 11 August, at 5 pm AEST.

All correct guesses will automatically enter the draw to win a pair of tickets per city. One winner in each city—Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane—will be chosen.

Good Things advises punters to stay tuned and “get ready” for the upcoming big reveal.

Back in June, it was confirmed that Good Things Festival would return this year, dropping the dates for this year’s event. Beginning in Melbourne on Friday, 6 December, the festival then rolls into Sydney on Saturday, 7 December, and wraps up in Brisbane on Sunday, 8 December.

Venues have yet to be confirmed, but it’s safe to assume that Good Things 2024 will take place at its usual haunts—Flemington Racecourse for the Melbourne date, Centennial Park in Sydney, and the Showgrounds in Brisbane.

Good Things 2023 was headlined by Fall Out Boy, Limp Bizkit, and Devo. Other highlights on the bill included I Prevail, Bullet For My Valentine, Corey Taylor, Pennywise, Enter Shikari, Behemoth, Sepultura, Taking Back Sunday, and PVRIS.
