"What? I'd put that on the radio now!"
Pop superstar and actor Justin Timberlake surprised music students at Newtown High School Of Performing Arts when he showed up out of the blue to host a music masterclass in late November, now sharing the experience in a video on Facebook.
As reported by Fairfax, Timberlake was in town for Trolls when he stopped by the school, stating, "This is a treat for me to come here to see and hear you guys," and sitting down cross-legged near the stage to watch the students.
On Facebook, he wrote, "Had a blast hosting this masterclass at Newtown High School in Sydney. Y'all are crazy talented! Keep up the great work, and don't forget to stay curious."
Giving feedback to the school's myriad of performers, the talented producer and singer offered up generous compliments — "What? It's beautiful. I'd put that on the radio now!" — to performers like Fergus Lupton, The Newtones and Ella-Jane Sharp.
