Golden Plains will return to Victoria’s Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre in March 2026, and today, the ballot for next year’s event has opened.

The ballot is open to all punters. Simple to enter and the best way to score tickets to Golden Plains – celebrating its 18th birthday in 2026 – you can enter via the festival’s website before 10:18 pm AEDT, on Monday, 13 October, to be in the running.

The line-up will be announced “when the ballot draws,” according to a press release. There are two rounds of the ballot – one will be revealed in mid-October, and the other will be a week later.

Online sales, which follow both rounds of the ballot, will be available on Wednesday, 29 October, at 11 am AEDT. And for long-time Golden Plains punters who missed out, the Aunty’s Last Golden Chance allocation opens after online sales finish.

While no line-up details have been announced yet, the Golden Plains team teased:

A golden treasure trove. Infinite delights across two days and two nights.

Heaven-sent and custom-cut to trace each undulation of an epic long weekend in the Supernatural-est Amphitheatre on earth.

All on the one and only stage. Mother nature on the lights.

Next year’s Golden Plains will take place at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre over the Labour Day long weekend in Victoria, beginning on Saturday, 7 March, and wrapping on Monday, 9 March.
