Amy SharkFollowing the release of her massive hit, Adore, Gold Coast songwriter Amy Shark has today announced she has signed a worldwide recording deal with Wonderlick Entertainment in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment.
The deal, which was finalised earlier this week, indicates that Shark is about to make her mark on the international market.
"There was a lot of interest in Amy from labels around the world, so we are thrilled that she has chosen to join the Wonderlick family," Wonderlick director Stu MacQueen said.
"We look forward to working with our label partners at Sony Music here in Australia, and internationally, to help Amy build the long term career success she deserves."
Shark added, "After meeting with the Wonderlick team and Denis Handlin at Sony, I felt right at home. I am so excited to now focus all my energy on my music".
The singer also performed Adore, which hit #1 on Spotify local and viral charts upon its release, this week live on triple j.
