Now that Dogapalooza is a thing, how we've gone so long without a dog-friendly music festival is a mystery. The Richmond musical fluff-fest have announced their first dog-loving acts for 2016 with Melburnian folk duo The Little Stevies and singer/songwriter Sam Lohs of the Rosie Burgess Trio.
With more acts to come, the boutique festival will be a gathering of fellow dog- and music-lovers as they soak up the sun, meet new four-legged friends and bond over the live acts soundtracking it all.
You'll also have vegan food trucks and ethical food choices to pick from, a dog-focused market and even the Dogapalooza Awards to give your pupper the recognition it deserves for being the cutest little bugger in the universe.
All proceeds from the October 9 event will head straight to Oscar's Law, a charity working to abolish puppy factories, as well as dog rescue groups Stafford Rescue Victoria, Greyhound Rescue Victoria, Melbourne Animal Rescue and Puppy Tails Rescue.
Dogapalooza will be held at Burnley Park from 11-5pm.
