Much-loved group george have confirmed a run of shows to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album, Polyserena.
The Brisbane band will perform the album in its entirety each night during the four show run at Brisbane Powerhouse, with the shows kicking off on Thursday 6 May.
Polyserena scored six ARIA nominations on release in 2002, seeing the band win Breakthrough Artist - Album that year.
Band members Katie and Tyrone Noonan reunited late last year for a mini anniversary celebration of the album as part of Katie's ongoing Live From Zac Hurren's Rainbow Room live stream series.
"Amazingly it has been 20 years since Ty and I recorded our debut album Polyserena with our band george, so for this special concert, we will be returning to the tunes of that album - songs like Special Ones, Bastard Son, Release, Run, Spawn, Rain, Breaking It Slowly and Breathe In Now, alongside some of our solo tunes and a special duet of one of our fave Aussie tunes Under The Milky Way by the legendary Steve Kilbey from The Church," she said at the time.
Tickets for the Brisbane shows are on sale from 2pm today, head to theGuide for all the info.
