EXCLUSIVE: Gay Paris To Lead Lansdowne 'Official' Relaunch

Sydney's Lansdowne Hotel have unveiled the 'official' relaunch party scheduled for mid-next month, featuring some awesome food and swish tunes from Gay Paris and more.

A few weeks ago, the venue loosely announced a comeback event, but today theMusic.com.au can reveal the date and lineup details that will rock the Lansdowne over three levels on Friday 18 October.

The bill brags the joyous Aussie rockers Gay Paris, who take the headlining slot on a list of fellow fantastic rock outfits, Fix Company, Reckless Empire and Tremor Doll. The Lansdowne are also launching an authentic American diner experience called The Phoenix Diner  to tide you over between drinks.

Additionally, an open mic event will take place in front of the venue showcasing folk/country performer Daniel Allars from 6pm, before Lansdowne's own Block Party (modeled off New York block party) with house and hip hop tunes pumping till late.

The reopening also marks to introduction of the Hotel's new weekly programme, featuring open mic events, trivia, uni and themed parties and heaps and heaps of live music, the venue already getting down to business before the party, with acts like The Lazys and The Stiffys already securing performing slots through September.

The Lansdowne Hotel Relaunch is on Friday 18 October with party-goers having until the 3am closing time to cram all the festivities in.
